About Us
- The Albanian Science and Engineering Fair (ASEF) began in 2007 with fewer than 10 projects displayed in a corridor at Turgut Ozal School. Since then, it has grown into an important platform for scientific research, creativity, and innovation in Albania. From 2019 to 2026, ASEF has received more than 10,000 project submissions, demonstrating its growing impact and commitment to inspiring young people to explore a wide range of disciplines, including natural sciences, engineering, technology, computer sciences, visula arts, mathematics and social sciences. By encouraging interdisciplinary research, critical thinking, and innovative problem-solving, ASEF provides students with the opportunity to develop their ideas, showcase their talents, and address real-world challenges. Today, ASEF continues to promote scientific inquiry, creativity, and innovation, empowering the next generation of researchers, engineers, and changemakers in Albania.
Our Mission
ASEF is open to students from grades 5-12. It aims to: Reveal and improve learning skills and handicrafts of students. Teach basic research methodology and scientific method. Teach essential writing and presentation skills. Create awareness on current social, environmental, educational and scientific issues.
Our Vision
ASEF organizers believe that educators need to raise children who will bring solutions to the table by improving their 21st Century Skills.
